Abstract: In the article, a mathematical model of the evaluation of the quality of running-in of a cylinder-piston group (GPG) based on the criterion for stabilizing fuel consumption in real time for running tests of diesel locomotives on the diesel locomotive frame is considered. The effect on the magnitude of fuel consumption of suddenness is shown to be the inclusion of the disconnection of auxiliary equipment connected to the engine crankshaft via a V-belt transmis-sion and a reducer with a compressor and water and air cooling fans. It was noted that the mathematical modeling of the on-off suddenness, carried out on the basis of the law of normal distribution, did not reveal a significant effect on the criterion of fuel consumption stabiliza-tion, with the help of which the quality of run-in was measured.

Abstract: The aim of the work is to study the output of landfill gas from the MSW landfill site, decommissioned 10 years ago, to determine the possibility of its energy use. The results of calcu-lations of the output of landfill gas from the site according to two methods, the results of instru-mental measurements of the bio gas composition, conducted during five months are presented. A series of measurements makes it possible to estimate the composition of the landfill gas being al-located in the absence of sludge: СH4 - 30 ... 32%; O2 - 0 ... 2%; CO2 - 40-60%; N2 - 5 ... 30%; H2S - 0 ... 30 mg / m3. Despite the lower methane content than in traditional bio gas, with regard to the energy potential, the landfill gas released at the experimental site allows it to be used pro-vided that the combustion process is necessary.
